Hi, I’m Jo

I am a writer. This is present in all of my work whether that be photography, filmmaking or personally crafted fiction and nonfiction. I have worked in dark rooms, with digital and film cameras both in still life and video.

I specialize in scriptwriting and bring conscientious creativity to all of my projects. I am a storyteller, exploring emotional and dark truths through an experimental lens.

I am currently working out of Washington DC and New York City.

I’m a recent graduate of American University earning a degree in Film and Media Arts with a specialization in Creative Writing. I attended the FAMU 16mmm film program in Prague, Czech Republic.
